Woodcraft: Oak statues

I have wonderful friend in Lithuania and she creates amazing stuff from wood. Today I want to share with you photos of small statues (angels) made from oak. All items in the photos below are made by hands. 

These small statues has different text. The first from left - Lady. Third from left - Innocent. Forth from left - Good. 

Dragons bookmarks

I have created three different bookmarks using metal dragon as a main detail. I love reading, simple adore it. I read lots of books and of course lots of fantasy books. So, this is my new creation based on my impression on “Game oh Thrones” and other fantasy books. 

The first bookmark I have created called "Dragon Age". I used onyx, cairo night and howlite beads to create this bookmark. Red howlite drop represents blood as dragons quite often a shown as dangerous creatures. Beautiful metal bead reminds me of middle ages. 

3 piece set "Pink"

Do you like pink colour? If somebody would ask this question, I probably would say no. I prefer green or dark grey. But saying no I probably would lie - I have so many pink stuff starting with small cosmetic bags and finishing with handmade jewellery.

So, today I want you present one of my recent works - 3 piece set containing earrings, bracelet and necklace. And of course it is pink set made from rose quartz beads. Rose quartz is not very bright, it is very pastel colour, bur anyway it is pink.

Earrings "Tiramisu"

New pair of earrings using "Osmanthus fragrans" howlite beads and silver plated earrings hooks.

"Osmanthus fragrans" howlite beads are stone beads made of the same mines: the natural material is blend of serpentine, quartz and jaspers. Beads colours can vary greatly, but all are beautiful.

Bridal Brooch Bouquets

Wedding is a very important event for each of the girl (with rare exceptions). Wedding day is very special and extraordinary and in most cases needs a long time to prepare: Venue, entertainment, food, music, wedding cake, etc. All just have to be perfect.  Every bride is different, so every wedding has to be different. One of the most important accesories bride must have is a bouquet. I has to be unique for every bride.

Earrings "Cairo Night"

Sometimes we want and need something simple. I love Cairo night beads - they are dark blue almost black, but still a little bit shining. Very elegant and suitable with every outfit.

Earrings "Flames"

Last week I have presented earrings called "Green forest" - elegant, cute, calm. Today I want to present other pair of earrings with red lamp-work beads. The beads style is similar to "Green Forest" earrings. But the feeling is totally different. These red earrings associate with fire, power, energy. They are striking.

I have probably somewhere in this blog already said that green is my favourite colour. Today I want to show you my new earrings made from green lamp-work beads. I used sterling silver (925) and steel details to make these beautiful earrings. I don't know why but today I decided that name "Green Forest" is quite suitable, isn't? 

Earrings "Berries"

I tried to use new technique for making these earrings. I work very rarely with jewellery wire, but I really like that style of jewellery. Every time the result is unique and original and doesn't matter how hardly you would like to make identical products. At this case to have identical earrings in the pair would be great, isn't? But I believe that the difference in the earrings only will make them more charming.

Red colour are perfect for summer. Red colour always catches the eyes and makes to look daring.
