Bookmarks inspired by Game of Thrones

I can not believe I did not post more than a year ! Time flies ! Not only I had time for changes, but also this is the year when we will have the final season of Game of Thrones. I decided to take my own approach creating bookmarks based on this wonderful show.

Lately I like to create items and attach some story to them. I always was fascinated with "Alice in Wonderland" story. But never have read it !!!! Just watched movies. Promise I will try to fix this misunderstanding as soon as possible. Meanwhile I was playing with those amazing brass cats; they are cute, isn't ?

Earrings with Swarovski crystals and chiffon flowers

I love to create custom order jewellry. Couple moths ago I got an email from wonderful lady asking me to create something suitable for warm summer day ... (she is going to attend her best friend 's wedding in Nice, France). I believe that all of us has different understanding what would be suitable for such occasion, but I somehow though about chiffon flowers. They are so lightweight, the colors can be so amazing and very different. I will show my created custom order earrings in my later blog 's post. Today I am sharing new photos of similar style earrings. 

For those amazing blush pink and green earrings I used Swarovski crystal pendants, Swarovski glass pearls, cherry quartz, Shamballa beads, chiffon flowers, silver plated wire and sterling silver earrings hooks. Cherry quartz is is underneath chiffon flowers and when earrings moves you can ses the glimpse of those stones.

Royal Wedding - 2 piece set with blue and see through beads

I am in love with this set . Yep. I am.  That blue beads are so beautiful. And I like the darkness, that navy colour. See through beads are also amazing, and they are very shiny. Who says that only Swarovski can sparkle ? I used gold colour details. Earrings hooks are gold plated. Usually I have an idea what I want to create. This time I got this amazing magnetic clasp.  And I have created all set based on this clasp. and somehow I called this set Elena .

Earrings with butterflies and Czech glass beads !

“ We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty.” The transformation is necessary if we want to evolve.

Roses - the expression of Love .

It has been a long time since my last blog post. So today I want to write about my new beautiful set made from roses and glass beads. I tried to do something a little bit different from what I am used to create - I am not very often using brass details. But I think they are so beautiful and unique and gives such vintage style and feel to any item. I also like the mix of brass and gold color details.

Summer Time Earrings

Summer time earrings from Milda's Crafts . I usually don't like to divide earrings into categories - for winter, for summer and etc. I think that jewellery should be in such style that you could wear it all year round. However this time I have to say  - these earrings definitely are for summer time or for some special occasion.

A little bit of earrings.

I am creating quite a lot of jewellery and today I want to share with you my new creations - new earrings. 

The first pair of earrings is see blue color. I used different shape howlite stones and charms. I wanted to create something unusual. These earrings reminds me of ancient Greece or Rome. Silver plated earrings hooks are suitable even for very sensitive ears. Length approximately is around 6,5 cm. You can purchase these earrings in my Milda's Crafts website here .

New bookmarks .

I love to read  and I have lots of books at home. Well, need to say I use kindle quite often especially when traveling somewhere. But at home I usually read paper books. And I really really hate to bend book page or to use bus ticket because I don't have proper bookmark. 

Today I want to share with you my new creations. All these bookmarks are available to purchase if interested. More items you can find in my Facebook Milda's Crafts page. 

For bookmark No.MB021 I used different size red coral stones, steel flower and big 3D steel ladybird. Bookmark frame is beautifully decorated with flowers as well. Truly summer time bookmark for some relaxing reading. Bookmark frame is around 12 cm. length.
