Yellow summer earrings ( No. MB042 )

Ahhh..... today is raining in Dublin while I am writing this new post for my blog.  I remember my father always was joking when I called home than in Ireland internal 16C degrees. But I like such weather: not very hot, cloudy, don't have lots of sun, raining and windy. So at this moment I have lots of candles burning in my house. Later I will start my fireplace.

Contrary to what I have written today I want to share with you my new earrings with bright and sunny jadeite stones and beautiful small Czech glass beads. A little bit of sunshine for a rainy day here in cozy Dublin.

Birds

I love to use different animal charms in my creations. And I was playing with the idea to use steel birds in the earrings now for quite long time. So today I want to share with my new earrings with tiny birds and coral beads.

I used white coral stones and small steel birds in all the earrings. I used red coral beads in the first earrings. Turquoise and aquamarine beads were used in the second pair of earrings. White glass flowers were used in the third pair of earrings.

Earrings No. MB030

I really love these earrings, they are one of my favorites. Need to say they are very simple, I didn't use any special technique or any unusual materials. I used quite big drops of blue lampwork beads with brown/golden patches. Tiny green/brown beads are made from Czech glass. Earrings hooks has little detail of seashell  - which me reminds of big deep sea. Tiny beads are accompanied by steel details with flowers - represents land full of vegetation. Blue color represents beautiful blue sky in summer time :) You have whole world in one :)

Wooden (oak) statues "Idea" and "Boo".

Wood is an amazing material. From the beginning of civilization it was used very widely: making fire, practical household items and etc. With ages passing wood become used not only as building materials, but as an art material too. There are lots of art items starting with amazing and wonderful middle-ages boxes till our time modern sculptures.

I have a friend, her name is Lijana and she is working with wood. So today I want to share with her beautiful works - two small wooden, e.g. oak, statutes "Idea" and "Boo".

The first one is "Idea". Her size is: 6,5 cm x 4,5 cm x 1,3 cm. So, very cute small statute. The word "Idea" is written in Lithuanian language - "Idėja".

The second on is "Boo". His size is: 7,2 cm x 4,5 cm x 1,5 cm.  Again small and cute :) As previously the text is written in Lithuanian - "Buū".

Need to say that original colors are more richer and darker.

If you have any questions regarding these statutes, do not hesitate to contact me via email which you can find in my blog .

Earrings No. MB031

Do you like tales ? When I am looking at these earrings there is only one word in my mind - Scheherazade . Do you remember her from One Thousand and One Night tales ? I grow up with these tales and always admired amazing stories, I visualized most beautiful clothes and accessories in my imagination. Hot Arabians nights and eastern style. Long bangle earrings looks like from the love story you have read earlier. Fantasy world is here......

These earrings are made from agate stones, cat's eye beads and Czech glass beads. I used lot of steel details for ornamentation. The earrings are quite long, around 11 cm.

Earrings No. MB034

I have to say I am not brave person. I don't have any red clothes or accessories. I love to see other people wearing something bright: red coats, orange skirts, scarfs of strangely mixed colors and etc. However myself I prefer black, dark green, blue, different variations of grey. But I definitely like big and bright jewellery. Today I am uploading and showing maybe not very big in size but undoubtedly bright red earrings.

I used lampwork and howlite beads, steel details, to create these wonderful earrings.

Length: ~ 6,7 cm.

Earrings No. MB033

I love summer, who doesn't ? And now we have very good weather in Dublin. So, all my free time I am spending outside  :)

I had these big orange leafs now for quite long time and wasn't sure were I could use them. The primary idea was to create earrings. But then I changed my mind as thought these leafs were too big for earrings. Because I couldn't decide what to create I kept these details safe in box with beads for a while.  But it is summer now and during this time of year probably it is mandatory to wear big accessories :) Finally couple days ago I have created earrings with tiny black onyx beads and glass flowers.
